Shuttle Routes to CMU

NOTE:

ICTC has expanded the Campus Shuttle service starting with the fall semester 2010 with the addition of the Downtown/Campus Connector service. The addition of this route going to the downtown area will allow those on campus to access banking, government services, dining and retail services in Mt. Pleasant’s historical downtown district.

The Isabella County Transportation Commission operates four fixed-route bus lines that serve student apartment complexes transporting students to and from Central Michigan University. These routes are paid for by the apartment complex owners, so apartment residents are not charged.

The schedule of each route below is presented in the form of Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) or Microsoft Word (.doc) documents for easy printing.

The service consists of four routes;

  •  The Deerfield Route:
    West point Village Apartments, Deerfield Village apartments and Lexington Ridge Apartments
  • The Broomfield Route:
    Tallgrass Apartments, Village at Bluegrass, and Jamestown Apartments
  • The Bluegrass Route:
    University Meadows Apartments, Copper Beech and Union Square Apartment
  • The  Downtown/Campus Connector
    Campus Connector to the downtown area via Washington, Preston  and Main StreetsThe Downtown/Campus Connector All on campus stops to the downtown area via Washington, Preston  and Main Streets.

Shuttle service on all routes operates continuously, serving each stop every half hour, Monday through Thursday from 7:15 AM until 7:00 PM. A final trip returns from CMU Park Library to all apartment complexes at 10:30 PM. Friday service begins at 7:15 AM and runs until 1:05 PM on both the Deerfield Route and the Broomfield Route. The

See accompanying map of the routes to locate bus stops.

These routes operate during the fall and winter semesters, from the end of August until the first part of May. There is no shuttle service during the summer, but ICTC dial-a-ride services are still available to all students by calling the ride line at 989/772-9441.

Please address any questions regarding the Campus Shuttle service to Dennis M. Adams, ICTC director of Marketing at dadams@ictcbus.com or call the ride line number at 989/772/9441.
